Team 1278 made its second showing of the invitational season with a 10th Place finish in Tempe, Arizona. In its four rounds, Team 1278 faced three teams that finished in the top-10. The young group of mockers opened the tournament with a split decision versus Notre Dame A, before taking both ballots against California State - Fresno in Round 2. In Round 3 the squad faced Gonzaga A, splitting the ballots but winning the point differential. In its last round 1278 dropped both ballots to the tournament runners-up, UC-Santa Barbara.
